Foo Fighters' Hilarious U.S. And Canadian Tour Rider

Catering Jihads and Bacon as God's Currency.

Internet gossip finders' favorite, The Smoking Gun is notorious for its exploitation of artists' absurd tour rider demands, such as Kanye West's Connect Four addiction and Van Halen's love of green M&M's. Most recently to emerge on the site is an intentionally hilarious tour rider by the typically comedic Foo Fighters. In their rider they make outlandish demands for everything from a bag of Pirate's Booty, "but not Johnny Depp's" to manly musk and vanilla scented candles. The rider also warns that if caterers are careless enough to forget the sixteen ounce Solo cups for their all important post-show drinking games that there will be an immediate "catering jihad."

But really what the Foo Fighters emphasize most to caterers is to "think outside of the box," as they elaborate on in a separate section entitled:

"Some cool things to do with meat and meat examples:

• Fried turkey, fried chicken, fried anything, really
• Sausages, veggie sausages. Big-ass kielbasas that make men self-conscious. Any sort of tubed meats. Maybe a night of "Fair Foods"
• Cornish game hens
• Meat-in loaf form. Turkey meatloaf
• Bacon. I call it "God's currency." Hell, if it could be breathed, I would
• Bacon in any form is great. Not as an entrée, but just in general"

The 16 page rider continues with flatulence advisories, pleas for chicken dish ingenuity, and bans on Jamie Kennedy and Martin Lawrence.
